Rebekah Sluder is our head instructor here at LRB. Starting at the age of 8, Rebekah has trained and specialized in English and western pleasure, dressage, hunter jumpers, and 3-day-eventing. Rebekah gained a passion for working with the special needs when she was just 12 years old. And at the age of 16 she realized that she could never live her life without her horses, as well as, live her life without putting her time into those who are in need. She decided then and there to combine the two passions, and teach special need horse back riding lessons. Rebekah was granted with the opportunity in 2013 to start LRB, and soon then after graduated with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of South Alabama.
Today Little Red Barn has granted this passion of recreational horseback riding into over 100 different clientele who have come to LRB seeking help with a challenge. When our team is asked how LRB does it, we simply respond by saying, "This is Gods work, and we just show up to run the grounds."
